The Wildcat Writing Center is having another raffle! Next week, from Monday to Friday, all lunches (Monday, Tuesday, Friday) and after school, if you come to the writing center your name will be entered into the raffle and you'll have the chance to earn a gift card! Shamrocks for Candy!

Have you all noticed the shamrocks hidden around the school? If you find one and bring it to the wildcat writing center you can get some candy! Keep your eyes peeled for some lucky green shamrocks!

Pecha Kucha
Hello everyone!
Do you know what a pecha kucha is? It's a form of writing where you have a writing and a visual portion. The visual images supplement your writing and it allows for a fast-paced presentation. In our writing center, we recently had to do a pecha kucha and then share it with the class. First year students did a pecha kucha on their tutor as a writer, while second year students did a pecha kucha on their reflection as a tutor. Here are some pics! Enjoy :) And don't forget to come to the writing center whenever you need help!

2017-2018 Wildcat Writing Center!
Hello everyone! The Wildcat Writing Center officially opened today (September 18)! We had our breakfast today with free doughnuts :) and we are now open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays during lunches and Mondays and Wednesdays after school. Please feel free to stop by, meet our wonderful tutors and teachers, and get some writing help! I'll try to update the blog frequently with our events, writing tips, vocab words, and senior spotlights. If you want us to add anything, contact us at cvhswritingcenter@gmail.com! Fundraiser at Panera

We will be hosting a fundraiser at Panera Bread- the one in the colonnade, known colloquially as "the coolest one"- on Thursday, November 12th. In order to make sure they know what great cause you are supporting, please bring a hard copy of this flyer or be ready to show them it on your phone!
